Yeego 12 Inch 17 Bottle Dual Zone Wine Fridge Review
The Yeego 12 Inch is the narrow dual-zone unit I would point most people toward now that the Whynter that used to own this slot is gone, provided the door can swing to the right.
Choose an under-counter wine cooler by the width of your opening first. For a standard 24-inch space, the model we rate highest is the Kalamera 24 Inch 46-Bottle Dual Zone. For a 15-inch gap, it is the ICEVIVAL 15 Inch Dual Zone 28 Bottle, and for a gap under 12 inches, the Yeego 12 Inch Dual Zone. Every model on this page stands between 33 and 34.3 inches tall, so measure the height under your counter as well as the width. The model must be listed for built-in use: a freestanding cooler boxed in under a counter will run hot.
I have spent over ten years testing and reviewing wine coolers, wine cellar equipment, and wine-related gear, and tracking how it actually holds up over time. No unit on this page was bench-tested. These recommendations are built from manufacturer specifications, the Amazon listings’ own stated figures, owner reports and comparison against units in the same size class. A model is listed here only if it is counter height and its manufacturer or listing rates it for built-in or under-counter use.
Every model below was in stock on Amazon when we checked on October 5, 2026. Each link goes to the full review.

Under-counter ratings are scored against other counter-height models of a similar width. A model loses points for a cabinet wider than its stated opening, a fixed hinge, missing zone ranges or clearance figures, a short warranty or a thin owner record. It gains points for front venting, two zones with published ranges, a strong owner record and a longer compressor warranty.

Forty-six bottles in two zones, 40 to 50 F and 50 to 66 F, in a 33-inch tall cabinet with front venting and zero rear clearance. The door is reversible. Buy it for a standard 24-inch opening under a kitchen counter. Read the review.

Fifty-two bottles in two zones behind a left-hinged door with hidden hinges, in a cabinet 33.8 inches tall. The warranty runs to three years on the compressor. It is 23.8 inches wide, so measure a 24-inch opening carefully. Read the review.

Twenty-eight bottles on six wood shelves, an upper zone of 40 to 55 F and a lower zone of 55 to 65 F, a reversible door and a listed noise level under 38 dB. At 34.3 inches it is one of the taller models, so check the height. Read the review.

Two zones and 17 bottles in a cabinet only 11.6 inches wide, with front ventilation for built-in use. The door hinge is fixed on the right, so check the swing before you order. Read the review.
Heights on this page run from 33 to 34.3 inches. Measure from the floor to the underside of the counter, and leave room for any gap the manufacturer lists above the cabinet.
A listed depth often leaves out the handle. The Whynter BWR-33SD is 22.5 inches deep but 24.5 inches with its handle, and the Allavino VSW3015S-1SR goes from 23.6 to 25.35 inches. Check that the door can open past the cabinet face.
Several models have a fixed hinge. The Yeego 12 Inch and the Allavino VSWR56-2BR20 open on the right only, and the Ca’Lefort 52 opens on the left. Make sure the door can open fully next to the adjoining cabinet or wall.
A cooler that vents at the back or sides needs open air around it. Under a counter it runs hot and wears out early. Check that the exact model is listed for built-in or under-counter use.
Every compressor cooler has to push heat out of the cabinet. An under-counter model draws air in and pushes it out through a grille at the front, usually at the bottom, so the sides and back can sit against cabinetry. Keep that grille clear, because it is the only way the cooler can shed heat.
A single zone suits a collection kept at one cellaring temperature. Two zones let you keep whites colder than reds, but on most dual zone models the lower zone has to run warmer than the upper one. The Allavino VSWR56-2BR20 needs at least 4 F between its zones.
Listed yearly use runs from 160 kWh for the ICEVIVAL 15 Inch Single Zone to 410 kWh for the NewAir AWB-400DB. The Allavino VSW3015S-1SR listing gives 106 kWh, but the same figure appears on a much larger Allavino model, so we do not rely on it. The ICEVIVAL 24 Inch lists 170 kWh, the Ca’Lefort 52 lists 200 kWh and the Kalamera 46-bottle 333 kWh. At an example rate of 15 cents per kWh, that runs from about 24 to about 62 dollars a year. The energy-efficient wine fridge guide compares listed yearly use across models.
Vacuum the front grille a few times a year, because an under-counter cooler cannot breathe any other way. Check that the door gasket seals all the way around. Let a new unit stand upright before you switch it on; the Yeego listing, for one, asks for 24 to 36 hours.
Work out the capacity your space will actually take before you buy.
Put shortlisted models side by side on the specifications that matter.
Find out whether one temperature zone is enough for your collection or two will serve you better.
Check the temperature, humidity, light and vibration where your wine is kept, and see what to fix first.
Weigh what proper storage costs against the value of the wine it protects.
For a 24-inch opening, the Kalamera 24 Inch 46-Bottle Dual Zone, which we rate 4.3 out of 5. For a 15-inch gap, the ICEVIVAL 15 Inch Dual Zone 28 Bottle at 4.2, and for a gap under 12 inches, the Yeego 12 Inch Dual Zone at 4.2.
Not safely, unless its manufacturer rates it for built-in use. A freestanding cooler releases heat through the back or sides, and enclosing it traps that heat. Buy a model listed for built-in or under-counter use with front venting instead.
The models we review come in widths of about 12, 15 and 24 inches, stand 33 to 34.3 inches tall and run 22.4 to 24.25 inches deep before the handle.
The ICEVIVAL 15 Inch Dual Zone 28 Bottle, which we rate 4.2 out of 5. For a single zone with a longer compressor warranty, look at the Allavino VSW3015S-1SR.
Yes. An under-counter model vents through a grille at the front, so that grille must stay clear. Leave any clearances the manufacturer lists around the cabinet.
Measure the width, height and depth of the opening, then buy a model listed for under-counter use that fits all three. For a standard 24-inch space, buy the Kalamera 46-bottle. For a 15-inch gap, buy the ICEVIVAL 15 Inch Dual Zone.
The Yeego 12 Inch is the narrow dual-zone unit I would point most people toward now that the Whynter that used to own this slot is gone, provided the door can swing to the right.
The WC-03S is a mid-range 15-inch dual-zone cooler, and unless you need a longer warranty or a proven brand name, it is the ICEVIVAL 28-bottle I would buy.
On paper this is a well-specified 28-bottle single-zone cabinet, but with a dual-zone version of the same box available, I would only buy the single zone if you want its memory function or matte black finish, so compare both listings the day you order.
Models on this page were assessed against manufacturer specifications, Amazon listings checked on October 5, 2026, and published owner reports, not laboratory testing. Ratings reflect that assessment and are revisited as products change.
