In the small wine cellar class this Antarctic Star Model really stands out in a few areas:

    This Antarctic Star Model has soft PURPLE LED lighting to show both RED or WHITE wines inside the wine cellar fashionably  – we give this feature a HUGE thumbs UP!

    Compressor cooling and internal circulation fan keeps temperatures steady and consistent for storing and ageing your cherished wines.

    Dual Pane Smoked Glass protects from UV rays which will harm your favorite wines.

    It also provides a barrier to room temperature and allows for easy visual wine label identification.

    It just looks more like a designer appliance than some other models.

    This ANTARCTIC STAR freestanding wine cellar is very attractive and with a 17 bottle capacity is still small enough to fit nicely in a wet bar, kitchen, under cabinet space, man cave, or lady cave.  It will also handle beer and various sizes of cans so you are not limited to just wines.

    This small wine cellar WILL NOT fit on a countertop, underneath upper cabinets.

This compact wine cellar is for freestanding use only and cannot be used as a built in.  However, the manufacturer does state the if there is enough room for ventilation, the unit can be used as a built in.  The same is true for the Antarctic Star 26 Bottle and 37 Bottle wine chiller.

    This small wine cellar is completely insulated including the door frame and glass (because of the dual panes) and that makes it easier to maintain consistent temperatures as well as go easy on your electric bill.

    The Temperature adjustment is easy to read and easy to change temperature as controls are located on the front glass of the door giving a high end commercial feel to this Antarctic Star model.

When you put it all together, we think you will be extremely happy with this compact wine cellar at this price point.
